Our arms are open wide to anyone making application to join us in our sport/hobby. Whether you are a seasoned pilot or interested in learning, make the move to join us in our club. We hold a business meeting every other month (beginning in January). Because we are sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics all members of our club must be current members in good standing with the AMA. To learn more click here: www.modelaircraft.org/
1. Contact the club secretary and inform him/her of your intentions to join. He/she can provide you with contact information to members who are willing to meet you at the field for flying sessions.
2. Print the Congaree Flyers Application as well as the Congaree Flyers Sign Off Sheet.
3. Get a few Congaree Flyers club members to witness your flights at our field (buddy box flying counts too) and get them to sign the sheet.
4. Bring the sheets to the next scheduled meeting. We vote on your application for membership and you are in!
Dues are $50/yr. and new members pay a $10 initiation fee.
